Lawcus – New Features June 2026

Enhancements

• Release Updates in Lawcus: A new Release icon is available in the top navigation bar. Users can view recent product updates, video walkthroughs, release notes, and release history.
• Intake Form Submission Export: Intake form response data can now be included in the Full Backup export.
• Confido Surcharge Settings: Confido surcharge settings are now applied more accurately to invoices and payment links.
• Client Portal Secure Messages: Secure messages sent to a contact now appear correctly in the Client Portal when the matter is shared with that contact.
• User Settings Interface: The User Settings page has been updated with a cleaner layout. Users can find and update their personal preferences more easily.
• Merge Tags in Email Template Subject Lines: Email template subject lines now support merge tags. Firms can include matter or client details in the subject automatically.
• File Upload Improvements: File uploads in Expense and Intake forms now show clearer progress. Intake forms also handle incomplete or interrupted uploads more reliably.
• Created and Modified Tracking: Invoices, Matters, and Leads now include Created Date, Created By, Modified Date, and Modified By fields. These fields are available in list views and related reports.
• Improved List Views: Contacts, Matters, and Leads now use the updated MUI Grid experience for improved list view performance and usability.
• Profile Picture Upload Enhancement: Users can now upload a profile picture and crop it directly inside Lawcus before saving. This makes it easier to get the right fit without resizing the image outside the application.
• Description Field Special Character Issue Fixed: We fixed an issue where Description fields on forms were not handling special characters correctly. Description fields now support special characters properly, ensuring text is saved and displayed as expected.
