This release includes 14 important bug fixes across invoicing, scheduling, sorting, and plugins, and 11 key enhancements focused on improving the UI, search, reporting, and plugin performance.
Bug Fixes
- Invoices & Billing
- Expense Type Display in Invoice Creation: Fixed an issue where Activity Type values were not showing correctly based on the selected Expense Type during invoice creation.
- Lead → Matter Conversion (Flat Rate Display): When converting a lead to a matter and choosing the Flat Rate billing type, the field previously showed the label instead of the value. It now displays the correct value.
- Activities Module – Billing Type Grouping: Activities are now grouped correctly by Billing Type for accurate categorization.
- Appointments & Scheduling
- Calendly / Appointment Scheduler Timezone Fix: Appointment confirmation emails were displaying UTC instead of the user’s local timezone. All workflow emails now display the correct start and end times.
- Leads & Matters
- Category Editing – Unsaved Data: Previously, unsaved data from an edited category carried over to new forms. The system now clears unsaved content correctly.
- Lead “Not Hired” Trigger – Missing Reason: The “Not Hired Reason” now appears correctly when a lead is marked as not hired.
- Leads List View – Sorting: Sorting by “Lead Created Date” and “Created By” now functions properly.
- User & System Interface
- Matter-Level Custom Rates – Inactive Users: The Timekeeper dropdown now excludes inactive users.
- Email Templates – Responsible Attorney Merge Tag: Fixed a bug where the Responsible Attorney merge tag appeared as “null” in shared templates.
- Theme Change – Menu Bar Slider: The menu bar slider now collapses automatically after a theme change.
- Phone Log – Validation Fix: The “Create” button now activates dynamically after required fields are corrected. The “Body of Interaction” field is clearly marked as mandatory.
- Monthly Calendar View – All-Day Event Default: Creating an event by clicking on the monthly calendar no longer defaults to an all-day event.
- Integrations
- Google / Outlook Plugins – Time Entry Format: Users can now enter time in hours format, consistent with the main Lawcus application.

- Job Title Update Request: A client’s request to update user job titles after a licensing downgrade was successfully completed, ensuring proper role alignment.
