Independent Read Status for Multi-User Conversations

The read or unread status is now determined per user, ensuring that when one user reads a message, it remains unread for others until they view it themselves. 

In remote team environments, team members often work across different time zones or have varying schedules. The Independent Read/Unread Status feature helps address this challenge by ensuring that team members are synchronized, even if they are not online simultaneously. By clearly marking read and unread messages, team members can easily catch up on missed discussions, reducing the risk of miscommunication and enabling effective remote collaboration.

Moreover, this feature makes it simpler for users to manage their messages, easily identifying which ones require their attention. In addition, this feature can encourage better teamwork because everyone can precisely monitor their own progress in Multi-User Conversations.

Targeted Client Portal Interactions

Lawcus now allows client portal users to initiate interactions with members assigned to the respective matters seamlessly. This refined approach replaces the previous interaction where all members were displayed, further reducing potential confusion and creating a more intuitive and efficient communication experience for your clients.

The enhanced client portal ensures that interactions are directed precisely where they need to go. By initiating interactions with designated members, clients can communicate directly with the legal professionals relevant to their case, facilitating clearer and more effective discussions.

The previous display of all members could lead to confusion. With this feature update, clients will only see the members assigned to their specific matter, eliminating unnecessary complexity and enhancing user confidence. By tailoring communications to match the unique dynamics of each case, Lawcus ensures clients are engaged with the most relevant information.

Auto-Assign Interactions in Solo User Teams

When multiple tasks are created simultaneously, it can be overwhelming for a single user to assign each task to themselves manually. The Auto Assign User feature eliminates this manual effort by automatically assigning all incoming tasks to the sole user. This streamlines task distribution and ensures that every task is promptly assigned and accounted for.

By eliminating the need for manual assignment of tasks and interactions, our new feature saves valuable time and reduces the risk of miscommunication. This enables single-user teams to concentrate on what’s most important: attaining their objectives and producing results.

Multi-Currency For Matters

Your practice is unique, and we believe your tools should adapt to your needs. With this latest update, you have the flexibility to work in the currency that makes the most sense for each specific matter.

Imagine you’re working on an international case where transactions and expenses are primarily in euros. With Lawcus, you can seamlessly switch the default currency, for that matter, to euros, ensuring that all billing data and invoices are presented in the default currency. Not only that, you can also change the default currency directly while creating invoices for a particular matter. This use case may apply to a client holding offices in different countries.
