We’re not stopping anytime soon! At Lawcus, we’re dedicated to providing you with powerful tools to streamline your legal practice. So here’s a second series of big releases this month. We’re excited to announce new features designed to give you more control and flexibility over your data and reporting. Here’s what’s new:
We’ve expanded the columns you can include in your matters list and custom reports. You can now add the following columns to gain deeper insights:
– Trust Balance: Keep track of the funds held in trust for each matter.
– Credit Balance: Monitor any credits associated with your matters.
– Rate: View the billing rates applied to each matter.
– Settlement Amount for Timekeepers: Track settlement amounts attributed to individual matters.
– Billing Attorney: Identify the billing attorney responsible for each matter.
– Hourly Timekeeper Rates: See the hourly rates for each timekeeper involved.
You can now manage Trust Balance and Credit Balance columns in your contact list to further improve your financial tracking. This addition provides a clear view of financial transactions and balances directly from your contacts’ interface.
These new columns allow you to create more detailed and customized reports, giving you a clearer view of your financials and resource allocation.
We’ve added the ability to include matter and contact tags in your custom reports. This enhancement is available for both matter-based and contact-based reports. With tags, you can categorize and filter your data more effectively, generating specific insights and managing your caseload more easily.
For instance, If you’re a divorce lawyer, you might consider filtering cases based on Filed by Husband or Filed by Wife or By Mutual Consent to add an additional layer of filter to analyze the subject matter later or to take inspiration for similar cases.
Lawcus now allows you to export your matter information to a CSV file. This functionality is designed to enhance your data portability and reporting capabilities, making it easier to share and analyze the information added to each matter outside of Lawcus. We also aim to respect your independence, so if at any point you decide to dissociate with Lawcus, you can download all your matter information without any hassle.
Lawcus has undergone a UI refresh, including improvements to matter forms, contact forms, lead forms, and the Billable Clients page. The updated interface is designed to enhance user experience and simplify interaction with the platform.
These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to improving your experience with Lawcus. These new features will provide enhanced reporting and improved data management capabilities. As always, we look forward to your feedback and are here to help you make the most of these new tools.
Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for choosing Lawcus!
